It never ceases to amaze how a woman can gain so much joy from pregnancy. Since this is most of what I do while at work, you would think it would get old. But just the other day I was amazed by a 23-year-old girl on her first pregnancy. She was carrying a cute watermelon around on her belly but her smile filled up the whole room. She was so excited about her new baby she simply couldn't contain it. I asked if she was having a problem with cramps or stretch pains, and she said they were definitely there but it didn't matter. Her husband was so cute as he looked after her the whole time. I think it's great to see people focusing on the positive especially during such a difficult time.

I can't believe how much people can change in a few years.  Currently working on a divorce on paper.  After being so close but moving apart, it blows me away that people can't keep it congenial after a long term relationship.  I get that separating is separating for a reason, but it's a shame that people can't keep a little more love in their hearts afterwards.  Word for the wise.  Keep that loyalty in play.  It just makes everything so much easier.

I don't get why guys just HAVE to watch tv on sports.  It's fun to hang out with friends and get together.  But watching sports is ridiculous.  My boyfriend wants to sit down and watch football every Monday and then I lose him for hours over the weekends.  Sometimes we try to get together with a bigger group... or at least I've tried to organize things... ok maybe push him into inviting people over so I'm not stuck watching him watch a game..    But it doesn't help.  It's all pure sports talk the more people I try to get to come over.  Luckily... some of his guy friends have girlfriends so that mixes things up and we get some time to chat.  But I repeatedly find myself staring at my bump on a log sports boyfriend.  And I don't think all those beers are helping him to look more sporty.   He'll start reciting sport stats from all the games he watches and rankings and what will happen if this team or that wins.  Really?!  Who cares?...
